The quest for tone

Tone: Hands+Guitar+Amplifier

This is a well known formula for any serious guitar player.

All of these elements are fundamental in getting your own sound.

  • Hands: I can do nothing. It’s up to each one of us to learn from the masters how to use them!

  • Guitar: lots of guitars are out there. The only question I have for you is: do you know what’s “your” guitar? This is fundamental in the choice of the right amplifier.
  • Amplifier: It’s the last ring of the chain. Most of the time it’s the weakest. Lots of amps in the market. 50% are garbage, 30% are playable, 10% are good, another 10% are excellent.
